Accessibility Feedback Process

The Accessible Canada Act is a federal law that was created to find, eliminate, and prevent barriers that people with disabilities face daily. Adopted in 2019, the Act’s primary goal is to create a Canada that is free of barriers by 2040.

The Accessible Canada Act defines a barrier as “anything—including anything physical, architectural, technological or attitudinal, anything that is based on information or communications or anything that is the result of a policy or a practice—that hinders the full and equal participation in society of persons with an impairment, including a physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication or sensory impairment or a functional limitation.”

The Loyal Express Group welcomes feedback on our Accessibility Plan and progress reports from the public, employees and our stakeholders. We value this feedback as it helps us to remove barriers to accessibility and reinforce our commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

Please let us know if you have encountered any barriers while interacting with the Loyal Express Group in one of the priority areas identified by the Accessible Canada Act (employment; built environment; information and communication technologies (ICT); communication other than ICT; procurement of goods, services, and facilities; design and delivery of programs and services; transportation).

Alternate formats will be provided no later than:

  • For Braille or an audio format: 45 days after the day that the request is received.
  • For any other format: On the 15th day after the day that the request is received.

How we will handle your feedback

The Human Resources department will receive the information and review it carefully. It will analyze the feedback to determine what actions to take and by whom, including follow-up if necessary.

Your comments and suggestions may be made anonymously. For all feedback received, other than that submitted anonymously, an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you, via the same communication channel you used to give us your feedback, within a reasonable period of time.
